Tracking with smart cameras

The project is to develop a tracking Algorithm based on a network of collaborative cameras.
Object tracking is a complex task in computer vision, because objects have complex shapes and because acquisition is noisy (focus, brightness of the scene is changing, tracked objects can be . The task becomes more difficult if the object is not rigid, that is if its appearance is changing over the time as for humans or animals. Moreover, a tracking system must work under real time constraints most of the time. Tracking is used in several applications like traffic tracking, video analysis, fall car, security, etc.
